How to Love Your Business as a Female Entrepreneur

Do you have a plan for some gentle Nurture Days in your biz? ????

As female business owners, it should be a bit obvious that we’re going to have a few days of the month where we aren’t our typical, productive selves. Amiright?

For some of us – we just lack a bit of energy. We feel a little rundown. For others, we wake up one day and hate our business, our desk, our hair, and our whole stinkin’ life. Can I get an amen?!

Here’s what I know works:

We need to build in some Nurture Days to our month.

One of the things I have my female coaching clients work on is tracking their cycle and then creating a written plan for these Nurture Days. Only guess what? I don’t just mean the days of your actual cycle. I mean the entire month, every day. It is eye-opening how you see patterns of high energy and low energy days start to emerge.

When you wake up and are ready to throw in the towel, you need your written plan for your Nurture Days.

What is it?

It’s a bit of a “cold action plan” of what to do when we feel like things are falling apart (meaning, we’re in a hot state and about to make a mess of things).

My Nurture Days include:

  • Coziest clothes (a must!)
  • Favorite hot tea
  • Softest blankets & a day on the couch with my laptop doing only easy, gentle work
  • No creative work (I just can’t deal with it)
  • Very limited in IG stories (I just don’t feel like it)
  • Favorite hot tea and sea salt caramels 🙂

We are the captains of our ship, ladies! Be sure to steer it in a way that honors YOU!

Want to know my secret tip?

I use Later to pre-schedule my social media posts and because I batch create, I typically am 1-2 weeks ahead at all times. So no worries of missing a day or two!

This is a reason I am a HUGE fan of task batching. It enables me to take a few Nurture Days every month without my business missing a beat.

Have you ever considered how batching and working ahead enables you to put the business on cruise control for a few days when you need it?

You NEED to be using Later.

Kelly’s method makes so much sense to me and just putting everything on paper and then in the dashboard made me feel like I conquered IT ALL!!! I’m actually pretty organized in my life, I’m never late, and I get things done. But Kelly’s method? It takes organization to a whole new level. Most importantly, it brings peace.
